Floorstanding and bookshelf speakers require a speaker stand mount to bring the listening experience to the perfect level of our customers' specific needs. Speaker stands must also provide a fully rigid, isolating support platform to allow the speaker to operate at the maximum possible power. This can be achieved not only by the integrity of the speaker stand, i.e., the number of supporting columns, but also by the technology incorporated into the design, such as The type and number of fasteners, or the special isolation acoustic steel incorporated, or the quality and thickness of the materials involved, 4mm oiled and pickled steel for excellent surface finish, or 4mm acoustic steel for resonance energy absorption and conversion.

Designed and manufactured by Custom Design, speaker stands provide the perfect isolation solution for speaker cabinets. Speaker cabinets resonate, so the best possible isolation points would be the strongest part, i.e. the corners, which is why Custom Design offers an optional standard range of top plate dimensions and also provides a bespoke service to help our customers achieve the best possible listening experience and sound performance from their hi-fi system.

The center columns are made from ERW BS EN 10305-3 steel which can be easily mass loaded with our unique special damping, void dissipating, non magnetic material, Inert Filler. The 4 Satilite columns combine to form an absolutely rigid speaker stand mount. Performance improvements are significant, especially in the dynamic range, which appears more open and free compared to conventional central mass-loaded designs. Stereo imaging and precise timing bring more excitement to your listening experience, all with accurate and controlled bass performance. The FS 104 Signature Speaker Stands are an award-winning, serious alternative to the usual speaker stand design option.

The satellite support columns are available in black or white as standard, with optional chrome and brushed chrome finishes. Laser precision-cut, hand-finished acoustic steel top plates and 4mm oiled and stained steel base plates for a premium finish are available with 2 standard top plate dimensions 165 x 180mm and 150 x 180mm. Designed using the open frame principle to have minimal impact on the performance of your speakers. The unique 5-pillar design provides a completely rigid isolating platform and solid foundation for our customers who demand more exciting and dynamic performance from their speakers.
