01 · Delivery times

When will my order arrive?

Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

Several items, not all in stock? Here’s how we ship

For orders of records and CDs where not all items are in stock, we proceed as follows:

1	Shipped together As a rule, we first reorder missing items so we can send your order in one parcel wherever possible.

2	Immediate partial shipment if the wait is longer If we see right away that an item will take longer, we send you the available items straight away as a partial shipment.

3	Automatic check every 14 days Every 14 days, our system automatically checks whether a further partial shipment can be sent on its way.

For deliveries to other European countries, please allow up to 4 additional working days.

X8 Evolution SE - manual record player - Pro-Ject

Top-class technology - now as a Special Edition with a sophisticated metallic look
The Pro-Ject X8 Special Edition combines the innovative technologies of the renowned Xtension series in a luxurious, metallic-finished design and is equipped with the high-class Ortofon Quintet Black S MC cartridge as standard. This model offers audiophile music lovers an attractively priced entry into the world of mass-elastic sub-chassis designs - including a true-balanced option (with separately available balanced cable).

Mass driver meets sub-chassis - for uncompromisingly quiet operation
Weighing over 5 kg, the aluminum platter is machined from a solid piece of precision-turned aluminum. Internal TPE* damping (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) effectively minimizes resonances. The high-quality, inverted platter bearing with ceramic contact surface enables precise, smooth rotation. In addition, the magnet-supported bearing with repulsive neodymium magnets significantly reduces the contact weight on the bearing - which further improves running smoothness and increases the service life.

Sturdy housing with optimized decoupling
The chassis is made of densely compressed MDF and rests on three solid, height-adjustable aluminum feet, which are decoupled from vibrations with TPE elements. This combination guarantees maximum stability and excellent insulation from ambient noise - regardless of the surface.

Motor control & drive
Integrated electronic motor control with switchover between 33 and 45 rpm
The external power supply unit protects against mechanical and electromagnetic influences
A transparent Plexiglas dust cover with hinges is included in the scope of delivery

Tonearm - high-end technology with carbon precision

The built-in Pro-Ject 9cc Evolution is a straight 9-inch tonearm with a seamless tonearm tube and carbon fiber headshell.
The tube is pivoted so that the azimuth can be precisely adjusted
The tonearm base allows the vertical tracking angle (VTA) to be adjusted
The inverted bearing with ABEC 7 ball bearings guarantees maximum tracking accuracy
The tonearm is equipped with a 5-pin standard socket - ideal for individual phono cables
The high-quality Pro-Ject Connect it 5P-E cable (approx. 123 cm) is supplied as standard
For true-balanced operation, the arm can be upgraded with the optionally available Connect it 5P-XLR

Connection & compatibility
The X8 SE is connected to a phono input of an amplifier or an external phono preamplifier. Thanks to its true-balanced capability, it is particularly future-proof - ideal for demanding high-end setups.
