Project Debut Carbon EVO - glossy - black - manual turntable - Pro-ject

It's time for evolution. Project's most popular turntable design now in an overhauled setup that has been refined in every area. One of the most popular turntables ever and more than an entry into the high end phono world.
We usually have all models in stock.

Suspension

Improved motor suspension

The Debut Carbon EVO features our newly designed motor suspension.
Project has further modified the old design to further reduce vibration.

Metal feet

Height Adjustable & Cushioned
The new Debut Carbon EVO uses 3 height adjustable solid metal feet to ensure level positioning on any surface.

Turntable

1.7 kg steel platter with TPE damping
A ring of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside of the platter helps dampen resonances completely and also increases the weight to 1.7 kilograms.

33/45/78 rpm
High precision motor control
The switch on the bottom allows you to change the playback speed effortlessly at the touch of a button.

Ortofon 2M Red
Moving magnet pickup
The 2M Red is the all-purpose cartridge par excellence. It delivers an open, dynamic sound with a touch of warmth.

The tonearm
8.6 inch carbon
The new Debut Carbon EVO features the proven 8.6'' carbon tonearm. This super stiff, yet lightweight tonearm delivers outstanding sound quality with a compelling soundstage.

RCA output
Gold plated jacks
The gold-plated connectors always provide the best connection. Since no fixed cable is used, you can replace it at any time.

The Evolution
The Debut Carbon EVO focuses on the core aspects that make a turntable great. Technically correct design - high quality materials - handmade in the EU. This turntable will last for eternity!

The newly designed motor suspension
Project has used their technology and experience from the past and also tried to incorporate damping techniques from high-end turntables into the Debut Carbon EVO. With more advanced TPE damping and high-mass sandwich construction in mind, the Austrians were able to develop this new solution.

The perfect stand every time
The new Debut Carbon EVO not only looks good, but also inspires with a perfect stance. It uses 3 height-adjustable solid metal feet to ensure level positioning on any surface. With 3 feet, we were able to increase stability on uneven surfaces, as a perfectly level turntable is essential for true high-end sound.

Precisely controlled speed
In addition to being able to effortlessly change the playback speed at the touch of a button, it is electronically controlled with the utmost precision, resulting in the most accurate and stable speeds.

Damped from the inside
The previous platter was already heavier than all the others, but a metal platter also has a disadvantage: resonances.

Project's TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) technology now helps dampen these resonances completely and also increases the weight to 1.7 kilograms. Because the TPE is mounted on an outer ring, the kinetic energy also creates a flywheel effect. The result is even quieter operation with less synchronous oscillation.

Phono Cable
Semi-balanced RCA cable
To ensure a trouble-free connection, the Debut Carbon EVO comes with a high-quality phono RCA cable. Our Connect it E is a semi-balanced cable with low capacitance and excellent shielding.
