Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

MC Step Up Box S3 - MC transformer - silver - Pro-Ject

Pro-Ject MC Step Up Box S3 - High-end MC transformer for audiophile sound quality

Developed for discerning music lovers, the Pro-Ject MC Step Up Box S3 offers a unique solution for integrating low-output MC cartridges into existing hi-fi systems. The MC transformer works completely passively and requires no external power supply, which significantly improves the signal quality. This innovative box ensures virtually low-noise signal amplification, exceeding the quality standards of other active MC phono stages. Clear sound reproduction, reduced noise and less distortion are guaranteed.

Sound quality at the highest level
The combination of high-quality step-up transformers raises the MC signal to MM level without the need for other electronic aids. This technology preserves the fine sound nuances and dynamic range of vinyl recordings and enables unadulterated playback.

Optimum impedance matching
Two adjustable input impedances (10 or 100 ohms) support flexibility when adapting to different MC cartridges. The 1:16 transformer ratio together with the Mu metal shielding ensures precision and attention to detail.

Robust construction
A solid aluminum housing protects the sensitive electronics from external influences. The dual-mono design enables excellent channel separation and improves spatial sound reproduction. Gold-plated RCA connections guarantee long-lasting and loss-free signal transmission.

Made in Europe - quality that impresses
Manufactured in Europe, the MC Step Up Box S3 is available in silver and fits seamlessly into any hi-fi setup.

Important features:

High-end sound upgrade for MC cartridges
Passive signal path without external power supply
Outstanding sound quality with minimal distortion
1:16 transformer ratio
Transformer with mu-metal shielding
Adjustable input impedance (10 or 100 Ohm)
