Trigon Advance III - Phono Amplifier - silver / black - Trigon

High End Phono Amplifier from Trigon - Made in Germany

The logical consequence of Vanguard + Volcano: the top model of Trigon . . . the Advance. The advantages of battery operation were brought with even more selectrierten components (selection 1%) in a housing with the phono amp. Thus, the Advance can do everything that the two individual components Vanguard II + Volcano III, only better and combined.

Superior processed amp with audiophile sound and extensive setup settings. These include, among other things, the possibility of adjusting the amplifier power in 16 different steps as well as input impedances, which can be set in 64 steps!!! (MC), MM 4 steps are adjustable. (Just this from the outside adjustable setup possibility let many, even clearly more expensive competition devices miss. The optimal adjustment of amplifier to pickup is one of the most important, fastest and best sound tuning controls. An amplifier that is not optimally matched will never be able to demand the best possible from your pickup.
If this is still not enough, there are four free slots for wish capacitors in the Advance.

A real high-end pre with manufacture claim. The solid aluminum housing accommodates the best electronic components laced to a highly musical overall package. A device for advanced music listeners.
For the amplification of the fine MC signals Trigon uses AD797 operational amplifiers in the Advance. The RIAA equalization is partly active, partly passive. The grounding is constructed extremely elaborately. The entire ground runs star-shaped to one point. The external power supply leads already as with the smaller Vanguard for optimal noise immunity from magnetic irradiation of the transformer. The circuitry is, as you would expect from Trigon, strictly channel separated.

The Advance can be operated completely independent of the mains for about 3h from the lead-gel batteries. The charging of the high quality batteries is done by complex microprocessor electronics. The power supply with parallel connected mains voltage allows listening for about 6h.
Sonically, the Advance is very powerful in action. Resolves to the smallest detail and is able to create a large-volume stage. It always acts disciplined and tight, creates silky highs and mids with melting. At the same time, it delivers a present, dynamically powerful and tight bass.
A device for constant listening, watching and falling in love !

3 years warranty on electronics - 6 months on gel batteries

Reiner K. commented Saturday, 18 May 2013

Was soll ich sagen?!

Dead Can Dance - Anywhere Out Of The World), das dynamisch & frequent anspruchsvolle Take A Pebble von ELP oder Rafael Puyanas wunderbares Cembalo-Recital (Speakers Corner Re-Release) erklangen in bislang nicht gehörter Klarheit.
