When will my order arrive?

Sourcing records and CDs is complex. So that you always know where you stand, we show the delivery time on every item as precisely as possible. Our focus is on audiophile records and CDs – in close cooperation with Sieveking Sound, whose stock is shown in the shop on a daily basis.

For items not in stock, a direct stock check isn’t possible while you order. We check availability immediately afterwards and inform you without delay.

How to read the delivery time: The colour of the delivery van icon on the item matches the colour of the dot in the table.

Vinyl care - Cleaning fluid - Pro-Ject

If you operate a Pro-Ject record washing machine, Wash it 2 is the right cleaning fluid directly from the manufacturer - developed to get the best out of the Pro-Ject Vinyl Cleaners. Wash it 2 is a ready-to-use mixture of demineralized water and cleaning concentrate in the optimum ratio. No mixing, no weighing, no risk of incorrect concentration - just pour and clean.

The formulation is completely alcohol-free and consists exclusively of high-purity components: non-toxic, non-flammable and 100% environmentally friendly. This makes Wash it 2 a safe choice for vinyl and shellac alike - alcohol-based cleaners can attack shellac surfaces and are generally unsuitable for historic records. Wash it 2 evaporates from the record surface without leaving any residue and leaves the grooves in their original condition. Available in three sizes: 250 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml.

Formulation & practical benefits

The decisive advance over the previous version: Wash it 2 is already premixed - there is no need to measure and dilute the concentrate. At the same time, Pro-Ject has optimized the formula so that it extends the service life of the vacuum motors in the Pro-Ject Vinyl Cleaners. This is a concrete technical advantage: other cleaning fluids that are not adapted to the machine mechanics can put a strain on the motor components in the long term.

Another practical advantage when used in the Pro-Ject VC-S3: The liquid continues to evaporate in the tank after the cleaning process, so that the waste water tank hardly needs to be emptied even after cleaning many hundreds of records. This reduces the maintenance effort to a minimum. The optimum processing temperature is between 20 and 40 °C - heating the liquid up to 40 °C (e.g. briefly in the microwave) can significantly increase the cleaning performance of stubbornly soiled panels.

Wash it 2 reliably removes dust, grease residue and other dirt from the grooves - without leaving any residue on the surface of the record. The liquid is designed for all current Pro-Ject vinyl cleaners (VC-E2, VC-S3 and others), but can also be used with other record washing systems that accept ready-to-use cleaning liquids. Wash it 2 is expressly suitable for shellac records (78 rpm) due to its alcohol-free formulation - cleaners containing alcohol can irreversibly damage the sensitive shellac layer.
