Music is more than sound – it’s a feeling, a memory, a ritual. Anyone who lives with vinyl knows the moment: the stylus lifts, the next record is waiting, side B wants turning over, or a freshly cleaned disc needs a brief rest before it goes back into its inner sleeve. The VinylLodge Vinyl Rest in size S was created for exactly these moments – a small piece of craftsmanship that protects your records, honours them and shows them off.

Let’s be honest: where does the record usually end up in these moments? On another sleeve, on the table, in the worst case on the sofa – picking up dust, lint or scratches along the way. On the Vinyl Rest, it sits securely with its label on a soft felt pad, centred by a stainless-steel pin. And this little parking spot made of solid beech becomes an eye-catcher next to your turntable.

Anyone who celebrates vinyl puts records down more often than you’d think: when switching between two albums, when flipping to the second side, right before or after taking it out of the sleeve, or after a quick clean with brush and fluid. The Vinyl Rest gives your record a fixed, clean place for exactly these moments – instead of a makeshift surface where it can slide or pick up dirt.

It’s also a beautiful display: the record that’s currently playing, or the highlight of the evening, is presented in style in your listening room. Whether in a purist setup or a homely living space – the Vinyl Rest blends in discreetly while adding an aesthetic accent.

With a diameter of approx. 100 mm at the top surface and 70 mm at the base, size S is the compact version of the Vinyl Rest: discreet enough for any spot next to the turntable, on a sideboard or on a shelf – yet large enough to provide reliable support. The top surface roughly matches the size of a record label. The 6 mm stainless-steel centring pin guides the record through its spindle hole and keeps it securely in place.

The replaceable felt pad (Ø 80 mm) ensures the vinyl rests gently and without scratches. Should it ever wear after heavy use, it can simply be replaced. On the underside, attachable silicone feet provide a non-slip stand while protecting your furniture from scratches – so the Vinyl Rest stands firm and solid, as you’d expect from a true high-end accessory.

The Vinyl Rest is handmade in Germany from 30 mm solid wood. The choice fell on beech: a dense, hard and dimensionally stable wood with a light, warm look that works beautifully and is exceptionally durable. The edges are carefully rounded, and the surface feels pleasantly natural.

Because every piece is cut from its own section of wood, every grain is unique – your Vinyl Rest is one of a kind and gains character over time. More than an accessory: an expression of your appreciation for music that turns the short breaks between great listening moments into something special. A lovely gift for every vinyl lover – and a must-have for anyone who treats their collection with care.
