The renaissance of the vinyl record has unfortunately brought forth some black sheep. They advertise HQ records with 180 grams for expensive money.
But connoisseurs know that it is not the weight of the record alone that counts. A 180 gram record mastered from a CD cannot be better than its "parents".
This is certainly the wrong way to go and as an audiophile investor you have unfortunately given away your good money here.
Speakers Corner uses purely analog and original masters. This data is pressed onto HQ vinyl using a complex analog mastering process at Pallas in Germany. Of course, this complex process has its price.
