All Hi-Fi Brands & Manufacturers in the Klangheimat Product Line
Why we don’t carry just any brands—we select them
The hi-fi market has become overwhelming. Hundreds of manufacturers, thousands of models, countless promises—and a lot of mediocrity in between. Here at Klangheimat, we decided early on not to offer everything, but rather to offer the right products. Every brand you’ll find in our store has gone through an internal selection process based on four criteria:
Sound quality comes first. We listen to the products ourselves, compare them to reference models, and verify whether the promised performance holds up in practice. Build quality is the second criterion: material quality, craftsmanship, and durability. Reliability refers to service, the availability of replacement parts, and the manufacturer’s attitude toward its customers. And finally, innovation —because good hi-fi manufacturers never stand still.
The result is a product lineup that is deliberately broad without becoming haphazard. Beginners will find brands like Cambridge Audio or Pro-Ject, which combine excellent value for money with genuine hi-fi standards. Advanced listeners will discover manufacturers like Cyrus Audio, Gold Note, and Fezz Audio, which are already making their mark in the mid- to high-end segments. And high-end enthusiasts will find audiophile record labels like Mobile Fidelity and Analogue Productions, which make the difference audible right down to the groove.

Selected brands and their philosophies
Behind every brand is a philosophy. We don’t carry manufacturers that are interchangeable—only those with a distinct identity. Here are a few examples from our portfolio:
Cyrus Audio from the UK has been building highly compact integrated amplifiers, streamers, and CD players in a distinctive half-size chassis design for 40 years. The brand embodies British understatement with audiophile standards. Gold Note from Italy combines artisanal craftsmanship with state-of-the-art electronics and is particularly known for its phono preamps and turntables in the high-end segment.
Cambridge Audio has been a staple for decades among beginners and advanced enthusiasts alike who seek musical warmth and precision at fair prices. Fezz Audio, on the other hand, is a young Polish manufacturer that offers tube amplifiers with a modern look and excellent build quality—a favorite in the audiophile scene.
On the vinyl front, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab is synonymous with audiophile reissues, while Speakers Corner specializes in meticulously mastered 180g pressings. Analogue Productions offers some of the most elaborate multilayer pressings in the world, and Stockfisch Records has made a name for itself as a German label with a distinctive, airy sound.
In the realm of record care and accessories, Audio Desk Systeme is the gold standard for record cleaning machines, GrooveWasher offers convenient care systems for everyday use, and Pro-Ject has become an indispensable part of the vinyl world as both a turntable and accessories brand.
FAQ on Brands & Manufacturers at Klangheimat
We see ourselves as a curated specialty retailer, not a department store. Our goal is to offer a cohesive selection in which every brand has a sound-quality or conceptual justification. Brands that do not meet our standards in terms of sound quality, product quality, or customer service are not included—even if they would sell well.
Curation means making a deliberate selection based on clear criteria. At Klangheimat, these criteria are sound quality, craftsmanship, reliability, and innovation. Every brand we carry has been evaluated internally, and the portfolio is continuously updated. This allows us to avoid arbitrariness and provide clear guidance.
In the hi-fi components category, we carry brands such as Cyrus Audio, Gold Note, Cambridge Audio, Fezz Audio, and Pro-Ject, among others. These brands offer amplifiers, streamers, turntables, CD players, and phono preamps ranging from entry-level to high-end models.
Our vinyl selection includes Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, Speakers Corner, Analogue Productions, and Stockfisch Records, among others. All of these labels are known for their meticulous mastering, high-quality pressings (usually 180g or heavier), and a consistent focus on sound quality.
Our portfolio is intentionally broad. Brands like Cambridge Audio, Pro-Ject, and Dynavox offer excellent entry points into the audiophile world at fair prices. In the same store, you’ll also find manufacturers like Gold Note and Cyrus, which cater to the high-end segment. This also allows for a gradual upgrade.
Audiophile manufacturers develop products primarily based on sound quality criteria, not feature checklists. This is evident in component selection, power supplies, cabinet resonance, and the overall engineering. Often, these are smaller manufacturers producing limited quantities who consistently prioritize musical quality over maximum functionality.
Both. Europe is strongly represented by manufacturers such as Cyrus Audio (United Kingdom), Gold Note (Italy), Fezz Audio (Poland), and Pro-Ject (Austria). In addition, there are major U.S. brands like Mobile Fidelity and Analogue Productions, as well as German labels such as Stockfisch. Origin is never a selection criterion—quality is.
Yes. We’ve been hi-fi enthusiasts for many years and know our manufacturers’ products from personal experience. Whether you’d like to evaluate a brand, compare two devices, or put together a complete system—just reach out to us. For us, consultation isn’t an extra—it’s at the heart of what we offer.
For record care, we carry, among others, Audio Desk Systems (high-end record cleaning machines), GrooveWasher (manual cleaning systems), Dynavox (entry-level accessories), and Pro-Ject (which also offers an extensive range of care accessories). This allows us to cover the entire spectrum, from beginners to professionals.
